Nanotechnology and catalysis application

Au Nanoparticles: Catalyzing Cancer Research Au Nanoparticles: Catalyzing Cancer Research Introduction Metallic nanoparticles are quite widely used in different applications including catalysis, drug delivery, and cancerous tumor treatment. Among the noble metals, gold (Au) nanoparticles have exceptional properties to be used for cancer therapy and diagnosis. In this domain, special areas of interest include enhancing molecular therapeutics understanding for cancer because the conventional approaches to solving the problem are inadequate with the lack of specificity of normal and cancerous cells. It also deals with the very domain of severe toxicity and degradation of the quality of life...

Sidewalks Promote Community Health

Sidewalks Promote Community Health Students Name Institution Affiliation Introduction This research was conducted to demonstrate how sidewalks contribute to the general well-being of an individual.Although most people have always stayed conscious of their environment and contributed in one way or another to improving it, little emphasis is being put on sidewalks. Most people simply view them as mere paths they use when getting from place to place. However, there are underlying benefits that come with sidewalks. This is what this paper seeks to unearth. Hypothesis Sidewalks have a great role to play in contributing to the overall health and well-being of a person. There are several factors...

Parkinson disease

According to Londos et al. (2013), 83% percent of the patients suffering from dementia and Parkinson are going to experience at least an event of dysphagia or difficulties to swallow correctly. As a result of the degeneration the disease causes, the patients' swallowing capacities diminishes, which could cause aspiration pneumonia, leading to death in a large amount of the cases where it occurs. (Robbins et al., 2008). Therefore, given the adverse findings related to long-term artificial feeding methods in patients suffering from Parkinson's disease call from a manual method that avoid the principal element of mortality among the patients, as a way to improve their well-being and reduce the incidents...

Electrical enegineering in the field of Antennas and wave propagation and electromagnetism

Student’s Name Instructor’s Name Course Date Electrical Engineering in the field of antennas, wave propagation and electromagnetism Abstract Communication industry has seen tremendous development in the last decade which continues up to date. The developments partly involve bettering transmission and reception of waves that aid in communication. This means that the knowledge of the phenomena of wave propagation, electromagnetism and antenna design and application is a vital requirement for sustainable development in communication technology. This paper analyzes these phenomena and their application in mobile phones. A greater focus is given to Multi-input Multi-output (MIMO) technique...

The relationship of teacher leadership and student achievement

The Relationship of Teacher Leadership and Student Achievement Student’s name: Institutional affiliation: Introduction Teacher leadership is viewed as a critical component in student achievement (Muijs & Harris, 2003). Also, effective teacher leadership is crucial to achieving and sustaining improvement in a school setting. Research studies suggest that effective teacher leaders can have a strong positive impact on the performance of their students (Muijs & Harris, 2003). While the quality of teaching is believed to influence the motivation and achievement of students (Wasley, 1991), it has been revealed that effective teacher leadership influences the motivation of teachers and...

Evaluating the possible mechanism of action of a novel anti-fungal drug on cdc20gene expression in AML cell lines

Abstract Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is fast progressing cancer of the blood which originates in the bone marrow. Increased expression of Cdc20 has been implicated in various cancerous cells and is considered to be a potential target for anti-cancer drugs. The present study was conducted to evaluate the mechanism of action, of a novel drug used to treat AML. The drug is an established antifungal agent and has been shown to cause cytotoxicity in AML cell lines. The evaluation was based on RNA levels, derived from treated AML cell lines compared to non-treated AML cell lines. Reverse transcription was used to get the cDNA from the extracted RNA. The qRT-PCR approach was implemented to evaluate the...

Education Topic

Dear Principal, Greetings! I would like to forward my concern with regard to the situations that have occurred during the past few weeks of my duty within the institution. I was hired as a program lead for the elementary department, and I am more than honored to take on the work opportunity along with all the challenges that come along with it. However, due to certain circumstances, my performance has been questioned especially in relation to how I apply my leadership capacities in the classroom. The alleged inability to handle my responsibility is one matter I am professionally insulted with. The agreement on me sharing a classroom with another teacher in teaching K1 students is something I could...
