Abstract
The following paper reviews the research literature of two different nursing articles, Felty’s syndrome: A Qualitative Case Study and Improving Oral Care in Hospitalized Non-Ventilated Patients: Standardizing Products and Protocol. The studies’ influence on nursing, conclusions, data collection methods, sample strategies, population, design, and questions are determined in the review. The review states the purpose of Felty’s syndrome: A Qualitative Case Study as the need to establish an all-inclusive context-bond comprehension of a given patient’s struggle with the syndrome. The study is concluded to supplement nursing literature and interventions of pain management, disease control, and education. The purpose of Improving Oral Care in Hospitalized Non-Ventilated Patients: Standardizing Products and Protocol is stated as the desire to find out if bedside tools, standardized protocol, and staff education improved oral care frequency (Jenson et al., 2018). The study is concluded to have bettered oral care and impacted the field or nursing through the knowledge of CNAs and RNs.
