Speaker Research: Mark Pope
Mark pope had a very good career as a player starting from when he was in school and today, he has become a successful coach. In the three seasons he has been the head coach he has managed to take the Wolverine team to historic heights (Hogsten 7). Baseball success which manifests in Pope is driven by hard work, passion, commitment, and focus. Pope is now 44 years old and has managed to make a name for himself. His personal life is also exciting because he has also managed to have a family with a wife and four daughters aged 15, 13, 11 and 7.
The success story of the pope is inspiring and shows the fruits of commitment and hard work (Hogsten 12). He served as an assistant coach for 4 seasons for Brigham young university pushing the students to another level. In his career, he has managed to help a team to keep good records. For example, he helped the BYU to 25-10 record which is one of the greatest the teams has ever had. The four season that he was working with cougar team he helped them to record a 98-43 results which shows his ability to influence teams to success. In the same period he inspired the cougar team to reach the semifinals in the NIT (Utah Valley Wolverine Athletics – Mark Pope – 2015-16 Men’s Basketball Coaching Staff – Utah Valley University). In the 2010-11 season, Pope was serving as an assistant coach at wake forest.
