Abstract
Nominations and elections in the United States have always been controversial. However, these controversies have just heightened within the last four years. It started when the then-presidential hopeful, Donald Trump was accused of sexual assault towards women. However, improves to have overcome this challenge by winning the election despite these accusations. The same idea has been followed by the recent Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh. This was an issue that sparked protests from different places in the country. The main idea is because Brett Kavanaugh had been accused of sexual assault by someone whom they were in school within the year 1982.
Nonetheless, Brett Kavanaugh who the election by a slight margin. This proved to be a victory for the president of the United States. This work looks at the procedure in the Supreme Court and some of the comments about these ideas. This is case law of importance and is crucial in the decision-making procedures
