Zuhair Murad is a fashion house started in 1997 by the famous designer Zuhair in Beirut and Paris. In recent days, the company has been designing, manufacturing, distributing and retailing majority of most coveted high fashion garments in the world which are of ancient heritage with a modern twist. The brand currently has more than 100 sales points distributing their products across the globe such as in USA, France, the United Kingdom, etc. with plans in place for expanding in the future.
The fashion house has several lines such as haute couture, clothes ready for wearing, bridal and other dressing accessories. The haute couture encompasses of well-designed winter gowns and summer dresses with a reflection of today’s modern woman (Vogue Arabia 1). The ready to wear clothes includes colorful spring-summer short dresses with a pop fashion while the accessories are mainly fancy women shoes designed to fit different seasons. In the bridal line, the house designs beautiful bridal gowns with some having flowers and crowns.
Zuhair Murad has had the privilege of dressing many celebrities such as Beyoncé Knowles, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, etc. One of the most memorable works is Miss France Chloé Mortaud’s fashion dress she wore during Miss Universe 2009 and other five dresses for other finalists of Miss France 2010.
