Why Canada’s Military is better than the US
Canadian and the American militaries have several comparing similarities, and so the question lies who does best in what and where. America is an excellent ally to Canada but in the spirit of patriotism, here are the reasons why Canada’s military is better than the US.
In a diplomatic war aspect, Canada is the best since it chooses missions that are based on multilateral or consensus operations (“Chapter Ten: Country Comparisons – Commitments, Force Levels and Economics”). Canada has a highly defensive military that does only invade and leave, but after missions are completed, they turn into peacekeeping missions. Unlike in US military, their offensive nature makes them be a lesser operative in diplomatic wars. Since Canada is smaller than the US, its military is designed for two purposes; for shock troops or vanguard rear actions. The current Liberals are having its soldiers perform several diplomatic and peacekeeping missions.
Also, Canada cares for the welfare of its military than the American one. The medical coverage, leave, benefits and wages are all by far superior as compared to the American one. Even though the previous conservative government cut many advantages, the welfare of Canada’s military is still excellent. The government spends more efficiently on the military’s operations.
