As a teacher, one of the most significant attribute I can have is impacting my students positively in a manner in which they can view themselves as being important. Therefore, through my writings, I intend to have that power of improving their views on my readers’ lives. Having self-worth is very essential for every human as this defines their behavior, how they interact and the manner in which one views life. Without self-esteem all is worthless and in most cases people fail to believe in their capabilities while focusing on what undermines their potential.
What I am aiming at is for my readers to have an understanding that in most cases, our failure is all about our mentality (Baumeister). We ought to stand out and toil for us to get the best and desirable results in what we want most. To achieve that, one needs to be socially aware, while at the same time have the ability to communicate what undermines us, what we fear most, what we shy away from and what we fear most in addressing people publicly. All this is attributed to how much we know ourselves.
With regards to that, I intend to use my writing to influence the readers into perceiving themselves as being useful and this is the starting point of a self-worthy personality (Baumeister).
