Once a wellness program undergoes evaluation, the process undertakes to identify the factors that might be delaying the envisioned goals and the steps that could be taken to rectify the situation. Also, the evaluation process does not exist only to identify the shortfalls of the program but to find out the areas that there has been exemplary performance and the factors that propelled the working (Pérez & Luquis, 2014).
Thus, evaluation results serve four primary purposes as outlined, two for the pros and the other for the downfalls of the existing wellness program. Persons or agencies responsible for the overseeing of health care delivery can use the reports to streamline service delivery in the culturally diverse community (Pérez & Luquis, 2014).
Evaluation is a wholesome process that seeks to table all there is to a subject under study; it does not matter the appropriateness of the findings, they ought to get presented at the end of the evaluation period. Evaluation based on the community-based participatory approach (CBPR) model would help identify the areas that are barring the realization of health wellness program goals. Through CPBR, the professionals get to mingle with the laypersons and other learned members of the community as they share their views.
