Evaluation for Accreditation Updated

The most important curriculum components and which will have to appear in the evaluation models to be used in the project are the program mission and the vision. As noted, our mission is to “enlighten and build on the lifestyles of the senior adults in the community by educating
them on safety water usage, treatment and pollution effects that are caused by climatic
changes.” To ensure the mission meets expectations, we will compare it with that of the main hospital. The Toledo Locus County Hospital. We will then compare it with the AACN standards to see whether we are on the right track as proposed by Billings (2016). We will then determine the department’s accomplishment each year to determine where we are exactly. The information gathered will help us determine what needs to be done to reach the yearly targets. For example, we will compare the number of county citizens reached by our outreach program with the targets. If we manage the expectations, we then may be considered for accreditation as our quality will have been validated. The vision, on the other hand, is “An enlightened and educated healthy senior community.” Through the promotion of educational programs on healthy living, we will arrive at a well educated senior population.
