External and internal influences that impact the effectiveness of organizations
The success of all organizations depends on internal and external factors. Business entities are to a great extent able to control the internal factors as they are primary elements that stand adjustable whenever the need arises. The external factors, on the other hand, are forces that lie outside of the business’ direct control. Organizations only thrive if they optimize the internal factors that lead to prosperity and in addition to that make an effort to situate themselves in a locality that has favorable external factors.

The primary internal factor that determines the nature of a business’ success is leadership. Goal-oriented and dynamic leaders propel all departments in an organization in the right direction with their wise decisions. Being the holders of the business’ vision, they stand to determine success or failure of the business (Goetsch & Davis, 2014). Employees are also a major internal factor that determines the effectiveness of an organization. In conjunction with their leaders, they can create a company culture that stands as a moral and ethical compass leading to a successful business organization (Harper, 2015).
