Health procedures evaluation models have often occurred at the centre when it comes to the development of health programs. Often the evaluation models deployed fall short of their targeted goals since they fail to engage the targeted population as the crucial participant in the health advancement programs. To cure the shortfall identified, the community-based participatory approach (CBPR) model seeks to seal the gap. The CBPR is a program backed by Center for Disease Control, National Institute of Health and several non-profit foundations to streamline the processes of planning, implementation, and evaluation of health intervention consequences (Pérez & Luquis, 2014).
Through the CBPR the researcher comes up with a research topic that is of importance to the community. Among the research goals that the researcher seeks to settle is the combining of knowledge and actions that are right for social change and community health advancement. The evaluation method would attempt to identify the effectiveness of the existing health models as operated in a culturally diverse community. The evaluation method would seek to bring to light the relationship that exists between the deployed health promotion mechanisms and the culture of the target population (Pérez & Luquis, 2014).
