I am writing to express my acute interest in the tutor position that you advertised (website and date). I learned about the advert from a friend who also has a keen interest in becoming a tutor in your company. Currently, I am a B.A major student studying English-creative writing and also attending Theatre lessons at Hunter College New York. I have an Associate in Arts Degree; Major: Writing and Literature from Borough of Manhattan Community College, New York, graduated on June 2016.
Given my knowledge about your company, I believe my skills will be of use if given a chance at your company. I was an Intern/English Composition Tutor at ASA College and Catholic Charities Archdiocese where I aided students with word pronunciation, grammar, sentence structure and linguistic comprehension tasks. Being a tutor in the previous position puts me in the best position to help the students in the current role. I believe my prior experience with students makes me suitable for the job. I have the ability to be flexible within priorities that are dynamic, work well under pressure and I am also a great team player in a particular environment.
