Influence of Writer’s Background
Jack Finney loved traveling and adventures which influenced his writing particularly ‘Time and Again.’ Finney was a celebrated writer because of the historical travel tips he used to offer people (Seabrook 18). In this regard, his many adventures and travels significantly influenced his writing of ‘Time and Again.’ He demonstrated the essence of time in everything the people do especially in travel especially New York. Finney is a person who loved tourism and would carry cameras for memory purposes. His wide experience in travels contributed immensely to his writing.

‘Time and Again’ by Jack Finney was highly influenced by the historical aspects of New York City. During the 1880s, New Yorkers were excellent regarding time-travel and the recreation of the past (Finney 28).
