Effective planning is integral in ensuring desirable outcomes for any event. In this regard, Samra’s first step would be to understand the context of the event including the characteristics of the community in which they will conduct project and duration of the project, and hence be in a position to identify the nature of educational material needed and the suitable methods for transferring the information to the recipients (Emerald Group Publishing (2005). Visiting the mall or talking to a representative would help Samra in estimating the number of people who will be served so that she can plan effectively to ensure that education and marketing material produced is enough. She should then go ahead to determine the type of material for distribution, where to source the information, and the most appropriate design to present it (Emerald Group Publishing (2005).
Samra will need a variety of software programs for the design of the educational and marketing material.
