In this chapter the focus on the Hungarian Jew arrival at the Auschwitz-Birkenau. It documents the destructions experienced by the Jews during the Holocaust. This chapter is interesting in revealing the evil amongst people and the extent to which people can harm others in the name of religion. Following deep into the chapter, the Nazi assault is well explained for readers to understand the whole cause and insight on the Holocaust. The chapter explains the events in Jewish perspective, making it easy to understand and develop an integrative approach to explaining the history of the Holocaust.
In the chapter “The Jewish Question on the World Stage” provide an insight into the position of Jews and how they were treated during the 19th and 20th century. This chapter is interesting and objective in understanding the civil, legal, political and national status of the Jewish community through the lens of the world (Norman, 2012). It explains the perception the world has taken towards Jews as a minority community and their indispensable historical roots. In the sphere of understanding this chapter, one can reflect on their relationship and understanding of the Jew in the modern society and historical context.
