The video is all about America’s influence in the World War I. How did it affect its ending in the mid of 1918. It begins by describing the course of the war. It started where Germany was organizing its troops to expand their territory (Gina, 2017). “Then coincidentally, Archduke Fred Ferdinand was murdered at Sarajevo which triggered the war” (Gina, 2017). Austria-Hungary immediately started the war against Serbia other allies joined in to support their warring partners. Soon every country was in the war. England joined in and to win they had to recruit over two million soldiers to go the fighting front. “All the nations spent millions of dollars to fund their numerous soldiers who were fed, trained and transported which cost huge amounts” (Gina, 2017)
The United States was at first reluctant to join the war. They believed since they were isolated from other countries by the oceans the surrounded them they had nothing much to do with the war. They continued to build their newly acquired lands. Soon after the effects of the war hit them. “The German submarines started to sink the American ships, and they had to chip in on the allies and fight against the Germans” (Gina, 2017). The war later ended in the year 1918 with the Germans losing after the American soldiers had entered deeply into the German borders, but they run out of armor and could not refill. At this point…
