At the beginning of the course I hoped to learn a lot, for example, being able to do a proper extraction and analysis of data from varied sources, being able to manage my time well and putting into good use the acquired skills and lastly being able to effectively follow comprehensive statistical steps and in turn developing my own arguments. I can vehemently state that I achieved all these because the course has not only been an educative one but also interactive in nature. I acquired a number of skills that I believe will be vital in pursuing my career, these skills are:

Mathematical skills; I gained the skill of using mathematical formulae in developing solutions to problems that are practical in nature.
Analytical skills; I’m now capable of carrying out comprehensive data analysis from any source, i.e., primary or secondary source.
People skills; this course due to its interactive nature enabled me to master people skills such as patience and persistence when it comes to work as these are deemed core.
However, despite mastering the above mentioned, I still need to sharpen my computer skills in areas such as programming and to add to this I still have a problem with time management as a skill.
