Personal Statement
I have always wondered how the mysteries and wonders of the universe were possible. I have always read books, curiously followed space missions and watched documentaries of space exploration. My curiosity has developed into a deeper scientific interest in this subject. I have a life-long fascination with Space science and exploration, which extends into robotics and design. My interest stems from an early realization that it’s this discipline that has the key to understanding these wonders and mysteries. I believe that the unique aspect of our time is that we can’t just speculate about this universe but rather prove some theories about it.
I already have a strong academic background in engineering and I have been anticipating in the ROV Project, milling components for the robot. I also attended the Space Station Design Workshop at the University of Stuttgart in Germany and emerged second. I would like to further develop my academic skills in engineering by developing my abilities in Machining, Teaching and Research. I look forward to expanding my knowledge in this field and I have realized the doing research work would offer several interesting challenges and opportunities to do this.
Working as a volunteer teacher assistant allows me to use my engineering skills. I am confident that my experience and engineering skills have adequately prepared me to pursue the post-baccalaureate study. Conse…
