The notion that foreign policy and International Relations (IR) might be responsible for wiping out the human race in the next fifty years has become increasingly popular. The need to discern and understand IR is vital in the modern world characterized by thousands of nuclear weapons and devastating terrorist attacks (Engel, 2016). IR is a branch of Political Science that assesses not only the role of states but also global alliances, multinational companies, and NGOs. The discipline handles issues related to human rights, sovereignty, development, and ecology from the perspective of global affairs. Also, IR addresses domestic country policies and their impact on the occurrence of other nations (Engel, 2016). Studying IR at the postgraduate level has always been my dream. I believe that this subject will help me unravel the complicated and often hidden system of factors that affect the welfare of global countries.
I pursued my bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration at the China University of Geosciences, Beijing. Aside from attaining a GPA of 3.09 points, I reached a great deal of internship experience back while undertaking my undergraduate studies.
