This letter is in regards to my interest in applying for a paralegal position in your firm. With my qualifications and skills, I am confident I can provide paralegal support services aimed at protecting the firm’s innovations and intellectual property. I am currently employed as an assistant manager at a fast food joint called Shakey’s Pizza and formerly worked as a Bakery Clerk at Albertson’s.
While pursuing my degree in paralegal studies, I have developed knowledge of intellectual property law. I was also one of the members of the Junior Paralegal Club where I was able to stay updated on all the current issues related to corporate law. Moreover, having gone for my internship in a law firm in my town, I was able to apply this knowledge and thus gaining an experience in the field. During the internship I was given the responsibilities of creating and maintaining paper and electronic litigation databases, preparing documents for trials by scheduling and conducting interviews with the relevant parties and also conducting in-depth researches and analysis on cases of corporate governance and litigation.
