Final Reflection. Education has changed significantly during the last four decades. However, the outlook has started to develop in the last three centuries because of development in almost every field of study. For understanding the core changes John R. Thelin’s “A History of American Higher Education” and Andrew Delbanco’s “College: What It Was, Is and Should Be” are the two finest pieces of writings. It has provided quite diversified outlooks covering time spans of past, present, and future.
