Throughout the American history, politics have been a massive part of the lives of the American people. There have been numerous changes from the time which was famously known as the antebellum era up to the modern political era. Some of the changes that have taken place include the references that politicians make towards each other. During the antebellum era, there are negative political ads that were taken to a new level by the politicians of that era. The primary political legacy of the Early Republic and Antebellum era on contemporary American politics can still be seen in many ways. The modern politicians also reference the politics of this era as being dirty and politics of the bygone era. During the early Republic and Antebellum era, there were anonymous political speeches where politicians declared the opponent as villains to the people. They were using the opponent background and ethnicity to gain an advantage in the public. In the media, these were known as their attack ads. They were seen to be a massive part of the American politics. This is something that the modern politics has learned of, and everything seems to have changed in the modern era.
