Interest in Operating Room Nursing
I have always wanted to do something in my career that makes a difference in other people’s lives. My desire and interest in operating room nursing came from my inborn ability to thrive in a fast-paced and stressful environment. My ultimate goal is to nurture and improve this ability to donate my time expertise and time to provide quality health care for people who need it. I am optimistic that becoming a nurse will give me the opportunity to save lives and to make the world safer. I know I will be helping individuals who may be in pain, under stress and scared. I believe that this is where I belong since my childhood, I have always desired for making the positive influence on other people’s lives. Nurses are normally the first and also the last point of contact for patients. I have realized that my actions will affect how patients perceive the nursing professionals. I am prepared for various challenges as well as rewards that this will bring.
An operating room Nurses assesses, diagnoses, plans, intervenes, and evaluates his/her patients. I am excited and eager to make this part of my life because patients under anesthesia are entirely dependent on the surgical team as far as their well-being is concerned.
