Banning of talking or texting on a cell phone while driving is dangerous and puts drivers at four times greater risk of a crash. Furthermore, the studies indicate that the use of the cell phone is one of the leading cause of automobile accidents. Majority of these accidents are caused by younger people below the age of twenty-five (Caird, Johnstn, Willness, Asbridge & Steel 2014). Many young people support the idea of using a hands-free cell phone without knowing that whether the driver is talking or texting he or she is just as distracted by the conversation. Although many drivers know the dangers of driving while engaging with a cell phone, drivers still use them with an excuse of the cellphone enabling him or her to keep in touch when an emergency issue occurs (Caird et al., 2014). In this speech, various adverse incidents caused by using a cell phone while driving will be outlined intensively. The use should be entirely banned because the evidence state that it can create significant distractions harm to the driver and the passengers and it also shows a negative influence on young teenagers.
