Is PLF obsessed with time and change?
PLF is obsessed with time and change. This is seen in a situation where the 18-year-old Fermor took the stand of sleeping in the barns and later on meeting the owners of the land he got the introduction of the castles. He has viewed himself to experience life that has the contribution from both sides, flora, and fauna (Fermor, 2017, 16).
Reactions to the book
My response to the writing of the book is that the stylistic devices that have been instilled in the book to pass the message are quite extraordinary and they are somehow lyrical beauty. In the in-depth analysis, the book itself is all about the older author that has encountered the young self in many ways. The book is quite lively in the sense that few writers are less seen in a situation where they are alive and display their real past in the writings. Personally, I was quite excited by the trip in the sense that it reflects the challenges or rather the historical linkage and imagination that the writer tries to show the reader. What gives the book the great pathos is the unusual vantage point (Fermor, 2015, 12).
